5 Inch Inline Fan with Timer
The Manrose MF125T is one of only a very few five inch inch inline fans. Specifically designed for use in larger bathrooms and kitchens the MF125 boasts an exceptional extraction rate of 310m3/hr on full speed.
Situated in the ceiling void the five inch inline fan benefits from having no electrics in the room where the air is being extracted from. A discrete 5 inch hole is cut in the ceiling and the duct termiates in a discrete grille. As a 'mixed flow' fan the MF125 also benefits from the air movement properties of a centrifugal fan and can be ducted up to 10m without any appreciable loss in extraction power making it suitable for internal rooms and those with no natural ventilation. Operating at only 25dB(A) the MF125 is extremely quiet for a fan of this size and will not cause any nuisance noise.
The integral timer may be adjusted on install up to 20 minutes and will keep the fan running after the switch live has been turned off. It may be operated any way you choose - remote switch, lighting circuit or remote humidistat.
We strongly recommend the use of duct clamps and a back draft shutter to prevent unwanted cold air coming back into the bathroom - particularly nasty when you're in the shower! In situations where the exhaust duct is to be taken vertically away from the fan we recommend the use of a condensation trap.
