The Vent-Axia Sentinel is a high-performance, feature-packed whole-house heat recovery unit designed to provide fresh air, enhance climate control, and recover up to 94% of heat. In addition to improving air quality, the Sentinel helps reduce energy consumption and costs by minimizing heating and ventilation usage.
Built with typical Vent-Axia quality, the Sentinel is a robust and durable unit. Its easily accessible heat recovery cube is protected by two removable EU3 filters, while two low-energy DC motor-driven fans ensure extended lifespan—typically twice that of AC motors—and minimal energy consumption. The fully insulated housing also features an integrated condensation drain.
The Kinetic BH model offers versatile installation options, suitable for vertical mounting in roof spaces, wall mounting, or placement within kitchen cupboards. With spigots that can be positioned either vertically or horizontally, the Sentinel is easy to install, even in tight spaces.
For added comfort during warmer months, the summer bypass setting allows cooler fresh air to bypass the heat recovery cube, lowering the internal temperature to a preset 'Comfort Temperature.' The advanced humidistat detects sudden rises in humidity, even if the preset level hasn't been reached, ensuring efficient and rapid ventilation of bathrooms and wet rooms.
The Sentinel Kinetic complies with the latest Building Regulations Document F 2010, specifically System 4 for whole-house ventilation with continuous mechanical supply, extraction, and heat recovery. Each model offers three fully adjustable speeds and a purge setting, all of which can be preset via the digital controller on the unit’s front panel to deliver the desired airflow.
